Hi guys!
My name is Ericka, and this website is like an online resume to showcase my portfolio/work from bakeries that I have worked for.
I love making viennoiseries, cakes, and bread (not sourdough though!) Mixing unusual flavours has been my jam (even though I loathe jams srry!) from Western to Asian or just Asian + Asian flavours. My love for food stemmed from my childhood - it just brings so much happy memories, being adventurous (even though it means a couple of trips to the toilet) and discovering bits and pieces of myself through one bite!
During the pandemic, I truly discovered my love for baking and ever since then, I have not stopped this passion. Truthfully, I still have a long way to go, and I love growing and learrning.
Fun fact(s) about me:
- I have a cat called Yuzu, she has been nothing but amazing.
- Korean food is my comfort food. Kimchi Fried Rice calms me down.
- Can practically sleep anywhere, I once slept whilst standing up. HAHA! For like an hour.
- I hate raisins and the people who eat it voluntarily. (TAKE OFFENCE! HAHA JK.. I think)
- Parks & Recreation, Bob's Burgers, Superstore, Community, Arrested Development & Abbott Elementary are my personality all in one.
- Also very shy & awkward at first, but once comfortable, you wished I should just shut my mouth into the abyss.
